The issue of stem cell research continues to be front and center in Trenton. Both the State Senate and the General Assembly currently have before them bills that fund the creation of new, state-of-the-art stem cell research facilities in New Jersey and allow voters to express their support for public funding for grants to advance this critical research.

Many of the finest scientific minds believe that stem cell research represents the very best hope for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, juvenile diabetes, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and other afflictions, and for the family members who love and care for them. The time for New Jersey to act is right now.
