Carl,

Make sure your father works on his game. I am getting tired of being the champion of the world.

Your athletic uncle.
Jeff Kingston 5/10/2006 10:41:37 AM

Carl,
My son heard about you from a friend and he sent me a link to this site. You and your family seem strong and persistent, the two most important qualities when faced with any challenge. It's good to see someone actually practice what everyone preaches when it comes to adversity. Like you're father says in his posts I don't know how I'd react if I was dealt your hand but to see you accomplish so much and never miss a beat makes me know it's possible.

Hope you have a great summer at the shore.

Hi Carl,
Wow, two years of college done! I'm sure you did well and had fun at the same time. I'm thinking of you often. Wishing you a fun and relaxing summer.
Love and hugs
Aunt Renee 5/25/2006 12:09:37 PM

Carl,
Welcome home. I hope you have a great summer. Your mom told me that you and your brothers will get a major kick out of Dean's Mutant Ninja Turtle obsession when you see him. She said she can even remember the song from when you guys were little "...heros on a half-shell... Turtle Power!!" It's so funny to see Dean running around all day in full gear karate chopping everything. When Grandma first saw him she laughed for 10 minutes!
We all look forward to seeing you soon.
By the way.. our puppy Trixie is a major pain in the butt, but I am not a quitter! Caroline, Holly and I have been working hard at training her, and she has improved a lot. Needless to say we have been very busy these past few months.

Hi,Carl-great to speak to you on the phone this week! Through my present recovery I often thought of you.It has been hard for me to be patient and wait for others to do things for me.If you know ,Mario everything is done in slow motion. And if you know the Riccio's we want thing done asap, if not faster, waiting is not in our vocabulary! I am so grateful for having such a loving family and friends-this is what makes me so strong. I know you must feel the same. With the support from loving people all the bad in the world is so unimportant. You, my dear nephew ,I know has been told to you before, are a true inspiration to me-I thank you and love you!

Hey Carl, how are you! So glad to hear that you had another successful year at Villanova University. My best friend Jessica will be play softball for the Wildcats next year, so you better watch out for her ;) Well anyway, I'm getting ready to head down to the beach with my friends and can't help but think about all those wonderful times we had surfing and hanging around together! The beach will always remind me of you, so hopefully I'll see you down there this summer. Stay strong, keep it up...you're amazing!

Carl,
It was cool meeting you at the Great 8 Tournament on Saturday. Thanks for giving me some pointers after my match. I really wanted to win that match but he was stronger. If you go to our website www.motowngrapplers.com my father posted some pictures of us and a story. You should also click on Summer Wrestling and read about some of the tournaments that we have been to. You can e-mail me at Weaseldr@aol.com. I will be at camp in the Poconos for 4 weeks and then I will come back and do a 4 day wrestling camp with 14 of my town teamates. My father said if you look on the Message Board from 9/5/2005, you will see my message. I will run the race again in October.
If you have an Ultimate Warrior shirt can you send one to me, I could not get one last year and this year I want to run the race and wrestle in it.
My address is 11 Fairmount Ave. Morristown, NJ 07960.
Thanks,
Darren

Hi,Carl! It was so very nice to see you and your family and the rest of the extended Riccio gang on Father's Day. I hope your summer vacation is filled with happiness and fun. You are a sweetheart and a wonderful nephew. Love, Aunt Margaret

I was surfing the web and stumbled across your website. I was moved to tears. I had a similar injury in high school wrestling and couldnt help to relive it. The severity of my injury was not as nearly of the capacity of yours. Know that GOD has a plan for all of us. I will pray that someday a cure will be found. Reading your story has truely been an inspiration. THANK YOU!!
Uncle John 7/17/2006 5:14:30 PM

CARL,

Looks like the champion is losing it on the beach. "PAUL" beat your father in football. Next it will start happening to him on the golf course.

Good seeing you, make sure you do the opposite of what your father suggests concerning anything in the market.
