you are so brave i wish you good luck in college and dont worry everyone is hear for you especially me. I am gona be a junior at watchung hills and i know how it feels to go to doctor appointmaents and medical test because 3 years ago i had cancer and every summer i have had operations to fight the cancer. Everyone is praying for you and we will help you fight this. I came to your graduation to cheer for you because you have been through so much and everyone at graduation was happy for you good luck and have a great summer.

I am Sandra's mom, and have heard so much about you. Sandra has also been through a lot of medical problems these past three years,and we know how difficult it is to try to combine medical issues with normal everyday teenage life. We've learned to be appreciative of every single day, and are encouraged and moved by people like you, who have their own battles to fight. Right now, we are cheering for another hero of ours, Lance Armstrong, who has fought an incredible battle with cancer, and has turned his life around to use his fame and cycli ng skills in order to raise money for cancer research. He has written two books, which are very inspiring to read.

YET KEEPING MY 89 YEAR OLD DAD GOING IS MORE THAN ENOUGH...HE HAS NO MENTAL DEFICITS...SMART AS A WHIP! STILL DRIVING EVERY DAY UP TO MY BROTHER'S BAR AND RESTAURANT FOR LUNCH...THEN HE COMES TO OUR HOUSE FOR DINNER. WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP HIM BUSY AFTER 57 YEARS OF MARRIAGE TO MY MOM, HE IS SORT OF LONELY...

Carol, up till recently I assumed you personally knew someone in the Riccio family. I asked and was blown away by the fact that you are just a wonderful warm hearted woman who doesn't know Carl, and yet cares so much about him. I want you to know that I enjoy reading all of your messages, and pray for your physical recovery as well as your broken heart over the loss of your mother. You have been through so much in your own life in the past year, and yet always seem to make time to post some kind words of encouragement here.
Someone once told me that there are "givers" and there are "takers" in this world. You are most definitely a "giver". We appreciate it.

LAST NIGHT I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED WITH MY COMPUTER...BUT A LOT OF MY NOTE DIDN'T GET POSTED. SO, I AM GOING TO TRY TO MAKE SOME SENSE OF MY NOTE...I WAS TELLING YOU ABOUT ONE OF MY DAUGHTER'S, KARLY, WHO IS GOING TO BE 21 ON MONDAY AUGUST 9. SHE IS THE ONE WHO GOES TO COLLEGE IN CLEVELAND MAJORING IN VOCAL PERFORMANCE OR OPERA...IT IS HER I WISH YOU COULD HEAR SING SOMEDAY.

I WENT TO P.T. TODAY WALKED WITH A WHEELED WALKER ABOUT 45 FEET! QUITE AN ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR ME. I HAVE BEEN SO TIRED RECENTLY...MY HGB WAS DOWN TO 8...AND I HAD TO GET 2 UNITS OF BLOOD...IT IS BACK UP TO 11.3 WHICH ISN'T TOO BAD.
