From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, a car wash will be held at Watchung Hills Regional High School to benefit the Carl Riccio Recovery Fund and the Chris Baldowski Trust Fund. Riccio, a wrestler from Warren Township, was injured during a match in February. Baldowski, of Green Brook Township, was injured in a 2000 motorcycle accident.

Donations are $5 and all proceeds go directly to Riccio and Baldowski.

A benefit reception and silent auction for Riccio will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 at Mayfair Farms in West Orange.

The event, "Carl, the Ultimate Warrior, Riccio," is designed to help defray Riccio's long-term medical care, rehabilitation and recovery.

Items expected to be up for auction include sporting events, memorabilia, travel, fashion, home décor, fitness and more.

Tickets are $100 per person and may be purchased at Sports Minded Unlimited on Washington Valley Road and at the Warren Health and Racquet Club on Mount Bethel Road. Tickets may also be purchased by mail through www.carlricciotrust.com or by calling (212) 696-6692.
