Dear Carl, We tried to set up a visit with your Mom during the winter break, but it didn't work out. We missed you during the family Christmas party. Maybe we will try again to visit with Aunt Margaret and Uncle John sometime this semester. Your letter was beautiful and inspiring, which reflects the person you are inside and out. Billy has been accepted to all the colleges he has applied to. He narrowed his decision to Cabrini and St. Joseph's. We are excited because he will be near his cousins. I will let you know his decision when he tells us. Good luck with your second semester! Study hard and have fun! Love and hugs from, Aunt Julianne, Uncle Craig, Billy, Craig and Lindsay

Carl, Happy belated birthday. I hope you are going to those basketball games. When I talked to Ryan the other day, he said no one wanted to go to the Kansas game last Saturday ... the game where ended blowing out the #2 team in the country on national TV! This is the best Villanova team since I was a sophomore (Kerry Kittles last year). That year, we beat North Carolina twice, becoming the only non-ACC team to beat them twice in the same year. This current team has that same talent ... they are going to make a deep run in the NCAA Tourney. So tell Ryan to wake up and you guys get to the games... I know Kevin and my dad are going to go to the Syracuse/Villanova game a in mid/late February in Philly...you should have your dad, Shane and Ty come too. By that time, we should be ranked close to Syracuse and the place should be sold out and rocking. I wish I was back there these days to catch some of the games live. Luckily I bought the Directv college bball package and get to see most of the games on TV. Looking forward to Wednesday against UConn. Hope things are going well back there with you. I know how much fun it can be on campus when ESPN reporters are all over campus and the team is ranked...enjoy it. This may end up being a magical year with this team. Even Dick Vitale is on our bandwagon now, he can't stop talking about us!
