Hi Carl- I haven't talked with you in a long while. I hope we will get to see you in the summer. School is almost over for both of us. I read your dad's last note. You know your dad is a rollercoaster and we all love him whether he is up or down. I have deep faith that there is a cure for you in the future. Carl - As I told you awhile back i had found the strength to coach youth wrestling again in BH. Well I had my first School Boy State Champ this year and qualified another 7 kids although none other placed. The team is taking shape and within 4 years GL should be back on the map at the High School level tnx to alot of kids who bought into the whole deal a new crazed coach taught them. I do call a few of them Captains to take the center of the mat and get the odds/even flip but we all know that for the rest of my youth coaching career you'll be the only one to really occupy that distinction. I'm glad to see the success both Shane and Tyler are having and hope the big guy is hanging in . Enjoy the summer Tim

Hey Carl. Congrats on finishing up your first year at Nova. Have fun at Peter's graduation this weekend. Hopefully the commencement speaker will keep the speech short -- there is nothing worse then a long speech on a hot day. I read that Villanova got the President of Ireland to speak...which is a big step up from last year's speaker, Big Bird. I can't tell you how much grief I took because of that choice of speakers last year from friends and co-workers.

Anyway enjoy the summer break, you've earned it. I'll be seeing you at the shore when I am back over the few months. Yanks look like they're finally back on track...hopefully they keep it up.

This Weekend at the NHSCA duals i had the absolute
privelege of meeting an ultimate warrior named Carl Riccio, that Arena has both sad and happy memories for me. But I was able to go home this weekend with clearer understanding of how sometimes the Lord Hands us certain situations and we must go with them wherever he may lead us. I told Carl ive prayed for him often over the last 2 plus years. What Joy filled my heart when i was finally able to meet this very handsome caring young man.... KARLY, MY YOUNGER DAUGHTER, GRADUATED CUM LAUDE FROM CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY A FEW SATURDAY'S AGO. VERY PROUD OF HER...SHE'S ON HER WAY TO HARRISON, MAINE FOR THE SUMMER TO BE ART DIRECTOR OF A CAMP FOR GIRLS BTWN AGES OF 5-15! OF COURSE SHE WILL CO-DIRECT MUSIC! SHE IS HOPING TO ATTEND LAW SCHOOL AT 'GOLDEN GATE IN THE FALL.

MY HUSBAND, KARL, IS FINISHING HIS 35TH YEAR OF TEACHING HIGH SCHOOL; HE MAY GO 4 MORE! WE NEED THE HEALTH BENIFITS. OF COURSE, YOU REMEMBER, HE IS MY CAREGIVER.

I GO TO MY NEW REHABILITATION SPECIALIST ON MONDAY...I THINK SHE WILL PUT ME IN THE WATER FOR THERAPY. I AM EAGER TO START WATER THERAPY; SHE THINKS I MAY BE ABLE TO 'WALK IN WATER'! I SURE HOPE SO.

I HAVE NOT RIDDEN MY RECUMBENT BICYCLE MUCH RECENTLY; I DON'T SEEM TO HAVE THE ENERGY FOR IT...I KNOW I SHOULD BE RIDING DAILY!

I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT GETTING A NEW ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR; MY CURRENT ONE IS NEARLY 7 YEARS OLD...WHAT KIND OF CHAIR DO YOU USE? OH, I FORGOT NO QUESTIONS!

Carl,
It was so nice seeing you at the graduation party. You looked great. Peter and Kerry have accomplished a lot. So have you!! I'm sure this past year brought many challenges, but as usual, you faced them with courage and dignity, and you succeeded above and beyond.
Looking forward to seeing you at the beach house this summer, and rest assured, now that we know there are so many a requests for Uncle Bob's guitar playing, he will be "jamming" on the beach once again.
