Hi Carl! I am a student in your aunts health class in Old bridge. Today in class, we were talking about the person which admired most. She took out a picture of you and she told us your story. I am so happy to see that you kept up your sipirts and didn't let anything get you down. As you can see you are the person who she admired the most because you kept up your strength. I was really touched by your story. You are a VERY inspiring person. sincerely, student

Your speech from the golf outing 2006,was very informative to me..I really think being an attorney will be the right career for you. Just think what possibilities and what doors can open for you. You can go on to bigger and better things. Keep on thinking big and reach for whatever your heart desires, anything is possible!

Hi Carl, I am a student in your aunt's health class. She said that you are the person she admires the most. Your story was sad but touching. I think its amazing, how even though you've been tragically injured you don't dwell on the pain. Also that you have a positive perspective outlook on your injury. I really hope they find a cure for you and that you get better! Good Luck With Everything. Sincerely, M.H.

Carl, I wanted to tell you that your speech from the golf outing is beautiful. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make it. How wonderful that you are considering continuing your education. Whatever you choose to do in life, anyone who knows you knows that you will succeed above and beyond expectation. I hope this semester is going well. We are taking the kids to Disney in a few weeks, Uncle Bob and I are just as excited as them I think. xoxo

Hey Carl. Sorry I didn't make the dinner either...I had an interview that afternoon in NYC. I finally took a full-time job in the city. So far so good. It is a civil defense firm, which is interesting being that I did mostly Plaintiff's work back in L.A. I know you mentioned that you are thinking about going to law school. I have a bunch of books at home about choosing law schools, what law school is like, how to do well once there, etc. I could give you them if you are interested the next time I see you. We should talk about it one of these days, I'll give you the low-down...although my advice would probably be along the lines of "what not to do while in law school." I saw a good article in the Metro section of today's NY Times on Brook Ellison who is running for NY State Senate...it's online too if you want to check it out. It just goes to show, you can do just about anything you want if you really are truly driven. You know most politicians are lawyers...so you never know, first law school...then elected office?? Anyhow, that stinks about Tiki...these Giants are built for a nice long period of prosperity with Eli, Shockey, Buress, etc. but without Tiki this team is far from elite. Hopefully he reconsiders and sticks around for another year or two. But if he ends up retiring after this year, hopefully it will be, in part, because they won the Superbowl.

Riccios around the US | 11/17/2006 10:47:31 AM |
Hi there, I happened to be researching some info on my family and came across your page. My name is Michael Anthony Riccio III. I currently live in Sarasota, Florida, but am originally from south Jersey. Do we have a relative connection? I am the Grandson of Michael Riccio, brother of Thomas Riccio. My great grandparents came here from the Salerno area of the Amalfi coast. The majority of our family is still in the Mantua-Woodbury-Deptford area. They include my aunts Michelle and Denise, as well as Uncle Anthony. Just seeing if we are connected here or back in the old country.

hi! iam posting for carl .he will be home in a couple of weeks and will post an update around christmas. he will have a minor operation a few days before christmas, something to give him more freedom and independence. i try not to call carl everyday . the days i do get to see or talk to him are better for me. he is the most remarkable person i have ever met.he remains my inspiration. i hope everyone who knows carl continues to support embryonic stem cell research, iam frustrated by the lack of progress. i try not to lose hope in a cure. carl will be succesful and productive no matter what his physical status. i just hope and pray that he remains happy and posative, this is my fear, that he might not always be as strong and posative as he always seems to be. so far he remains a rock of persistance ,acceptance ,and hope. he remains the brightest part of my life.
